Is Russia About to Support a Domestic Insurgency in the West?
Guys, it's really happening!
Forgive the clickbait title.
I’m still trying to get the numbers on this blog up.
There was the recent announcement by Prigozhin of Wagner that 10 million Americans signed up to join his private military force. This is clearly a troll on his part. And then he released a declaration declaring the governments of several Western governments illegitimate. Here:
The Russian government proper would never stand up to the West like that.
But if the GRU and Wagner were to gain more power in Russia at the expense of the established network of crooks and spooks, you might see active measures in the West. Maybe.
Until then, as always, you’re on your own.
But we may as well take the time to talk about how realistic an overthrow of the ruling system in the West is. In short, very unlikely:
We’re at about the second stage on this pyramid of resistance.
So, for example, a significant part of the Republican party’s base thinks that the elections were stolen and that Joe Biden is illegitimate. Now, half the country isn’t politically interested enough to vote, and half of the people that do vote are people who vote for the other guy. And the MAGA people are only half and then some of their own party.
So, using some rough math: 330 million people / 2 = 165 voters / 2 = 82 republicans /2 = 41 million right-wing populists who are disaffected enough to believe that the federal government is illegitimate. But, even among these 41 million, a large chunk of them clearly aren’t disaffected enough because they actually took the time to participate in the midterms, even though they ostensibly believe that elections in the US are now rigged by their political opponents and that their own party is complicit in the cover-up. How then to explain their amnesia and their participation in the midterms? Well we’ll get to that. In short, they were told to participate by their thought-leaders and they dutifully reported to the voting booths. Probably more of them have grown more disaffected still since then, but it’s still worth pointing out that even among the diehards, many still cling to the old system and their actions reflect their beliefs.
Furthermore, there is still a stubborn, lingering faith in the police institutions (both federal and local) even though these institutions have aligned with the political left. The right’s mistaken belief that cops having guns makes them right-wing populists is a prime example of what I’m talking about. We make fun of delusional men who think they’re women, but the Thin Blue Line supporters are even more delusional still.
But the main reason why the populist-right cannot get off the ground and get the ball rolling is because it is so heavily suppressed. It’s really that simple.
This suppression takes on many forms.
First and foremost is the censorship. Right-wing populist personalities are monitored and routinely shut down through a variety of softer and harder methods depending on the individual case. Other times, they are co-opted. This happened with so many of the original MAGA internet personalities that it is would take an entire page to list the sell-outs here. The most egregious example would have to be Jack Posobiec taking a paid trip to Israel and coming back a neocon convert. But there were many, many others.
Which brings us neatly to the next stage of the control process - the gatekeeper personalities. Con Inc hires what amounts to paid actors to run media projects that tell people just how outraged they’re allowed to be and about what. Nothing new here. The wolves put on sheep skins to keep the herd from straying too far from pre-approved pastures. Then, when the time comes to shepherd the sheep into the next hoax, they spring into action. Like they’re doing now with the latest China weather balloon hoax. Or Iran, again, if it comes to that.
Frankly, these tactics are enough to keep the vast majority of the peasants placated.
They listen to their favorite “rebel” personality complain about the news du jour, gnash their teeth for the prescribed 10 minutes of hate on their way to work and then dutifully pay their taxes, queue for the ballot box to vote for the next charlatan and the con chugs on, unopposed and unperturbed in the slightest.
Of course, there are sheep who break free of the pasture and try to warn the others. They immediately attract the attention of the next layer of defense: the spook state. The system of control that we have now is far clever that the cruder one that the USSR used, for example. This one allows for some level of controllable dissent, to keep the steam from building up too much and too fast. In other words, the tame gatekeeping self-styled “rebels” are an integral part of the system of control. Some of them don’t even deny that they work for the spooks, and simply pretend that it is a good thing.
Incredible stuff. Even more incredible because it works.
And no real resistance is possible so long as these control mechanisms remain in place!
If there were a serious effort to replace the political caste in America, it would have to start with smart peasants rebelling against their appointed thought-leaders and ideological shepherds. For the populist-right, that means taking the rebellion to Ben Shapiro, Matt Walsh, Steven Crowder, Sean Hannity, and the political leadership of the party that shepherds them. It is imperative to overthrow their authority, because the vast majority of peasants sheepishly respond to this authority.
We have been stuck in this phase for many years now. Progress was made under Trump, because, using his authority, he went to war with many of the leaders of Con Inc. The peasants responded positively to his rebellion and went along with it. However, when MAGA fizzled out, a majority of them dutifully returned to their GOP-approved pasture.
So, while we got our proof of concept in the Trump phenomenon, we were unable to capitalize on it. This is largely because of Trump’s failed leadership and because of the stiff bipartisan level of resistance that his rebellion encountered.
It feels silly to even talk about anything else on that pyramid except to point out that many in the populist-right want to skip right to the large scale military uprising part. But, seeing as we can’t even wrest control of the populist-right from it’s Deep State-appointed intellectual gatekeepers, the odds of a spontaneous armed uprising by gun-toting patriots taking back their freedoms from sea to shining sea is so unlikely as to seem like a bad joke. In fact, many on the right have taken to mocking these loud-talking, chest-thumping, gun-brandishing, do-nothings, and for good reason.
Once again, the most glaring problem that we face is a conceptual one. Many believe that having gatekeeper “rebel” personalities allowed to operate freely in our totalitarian system is better than having none at all. They are completely and totally wrong. Far better to replace them, or barring that, to remove this control mechanism all together. Make it so that the steam builds up and isn’t able to be managed safely and let out under control.
The priority goal of a serious political overthrow, of any movement at all that wants to achieve systemic change, is to first identify and remove all the barriers and impediments keeping the movement from succeeding.
And the appointed talking-head shepherds who are keeping the sheep ideologically dazzled and politically bamboozled are the system’s first line of defense. There are, of course, other, higher levels of defense that the system has in place. But they too can be identified, understood and then engaged with when the time comes.
So don’t ask, “what is to be done?” as if no one has explained it to you before.
And there’s really no point fantasizing about drop-shipments of AKs from Russia. We are very, very far from that point.
No, instead, we simply engage the enemy dungeon bosses on the level of hell that we find ourselves stuck in now. We just keep moving forward to freedom until all of our enemies are defeated.
If we can’t even beat dungeon-boss Ben Shapiro and Sean Hannity or get older folks to stop communicating via email and messenger, well …
Try to get some of your friends and family to stop listening to Fox News, for starters.
Get them to subscribe to this blog instead.
Then worry about Prigozhin’s promised AKs.
If voting machines cannot be inspected and voting cannot be observed, then voting is not up to recognized international standards. Dominion voting machines cannot be inspected due to "copyright" and people that vote at home cannot be observed. So, the assumption is there is election rigging in the USA fake democracy. Then there is the lawsuit saying that Fox news cannot say what they want to say about Dominion voting machines. If a news outlet cannot say whatever it wants about an election, then the whole freedom of speech thing is a joke.
Yesterday Strelkov did a really cool long interview that as usual unfortunately has no subs.
https://t.me/strelkovii/3964
He was talking about how when he knew that Moscow had no intention of sending help to besieged Slavyansk that he didn't tell the normie civilians who made up his militia. The interviewer asked him why and Strelkov says "they just wouldn't have believed me".
That psychology applies to American conservatives just as much as Strelkovs militia at Slavyansk. They can be lead where ever but tell them absolutely nobody is going to swoop in to save them and even they nod along they won't actually believe you. The gate keepers tell the peasants just vote hard enough for this or that guy and he will totally save you.
If the peasants in question are shitlibs you can convince them of anything except the maliciousness of our overlords and the untrustworthiness of "experts". If they are conservatives you can convince them of anything except the fact that absolutely nobody has both the means and will to save them. You have to somehow get them mobilized and moving to save themselves like Strelkov did with his guys at Slavyansk but Zog makes sure that that is impossible to do on the grid.
Thats why all public talk of "doing something" is either from idiots or feds and when it comes to the US the best that can be hoped for is very local solutions to a generally global problem.
