Another disaster where thousands were forced to evacuate, animals left to drown, farms obliterated as catastrophic floods engulfed low-lying areas.

They say the dam holds back a reservoir equal in volume to Utah's Great Salt Lake--locals call it the "Kakhovka Sea."

In any event, it's a damn shame. A comment not meant to be amusing, but to emphasize the tragedy of a country being systematically destroyed while the most powerless are either being slaughtered or coerced into become refugees.

"As of May 2022, 100 million individuals were forcibly displaced worldwide. This accounts for an increase of 10.7 million people displaced from the end of the previous year, propelled by the war in Ukraine and other deadly conflicts."

One could cynically believe a demographic shift of the world's population is being deliberately orchestrated. As it doesn't take a genius to know the sociological outcome of endless wars and political instability.

But I digress, as the decimated dam is the most recent crisis which should be addressed. That being said, I'm not a structural engineer but wouldn't you need to plant high-powered underwater explosives at just the right

depth in order to demolish such an enormous concrete structure. It would require a skilled team. Perhaps, the Nord Stream divers were available or a similar bunch looking for a side hustle.

Nontheless, it's hard to imagine why anyone would want to jeopardize a dam which might supply water to Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Station. Here's a link of what would happen if that nuclear plant blows.

https://www.sgr.org.uk/resources/nuclear-power-ukraine-what-would-happen-if-zaporizhzhia-was-hit#:~:text=At%20Zaporizhzhia%2C%20the%20large%20amounts,site%20and%20city%20of%20Enerhodar.

Another reason why nuclear plants if built should only be constructed in locations where "billionaires reside." I'm sick and tired of seeing the middle-class poisoned, radiated, or drowned for profit.

And that pretty much sums up this Ukraine mess which is another needless manufactured crisis where the middle-class, poor, and elderly are sacrificed so wealthy mobster rulers residing in splendor on every continent can abscond with additional billions.

The Resident guys say the Ukrainians blew the dam and in about 2 weeks the water will have receded enough to go on the offensive minus the swept away defences. Makes sense to me, the Russian wont restore all those defenses in 2 weeks, the dam being blown is yet more atrocity porn to blame on Russia and in 2 weeks the Ukrainians will have an easier time attacking if they want to. Its not like Russia has enough guys to reinforce that front to compensate for the lost minefields and all that. So blowing of up the dam only benefits Russia in the immediate short term really and Ukraine long term.

According to the both Ukrainian and Z rumor mill Zaluzhny was in serious disagreement with Zelensky about both trying to hold Bakhmut for so long and how/when to conduct the offensive. If thats true and it sounds possible than my only hope is that Zelensky bungles the offensive. Zaluzhny may or may not have been wounded but it very much looks like he is on the outs. And thats good for pro Russians because he was pretty competent and deserves most the credit for Ukraines achievements so far. I mean he deserves the credit after Shoigu and the Kremlin. Its a long shot but I hope the Ukrainians start fighting dumber due to political pressure on Zelensky from the US.

Well done, Rolo. Well done. I make various predictions about all sorts of people and events, but I, too, base those predictions on observable evidence. Otherwise, you're dealing with unicorns and rainbows, which is what passes for reasoned argument in the U.S. today.

We live in Kali Yuga. Everything is inverted. Nothing is what it appears. The astute have long deduced this conclusion. So, yes. You can only wait to see other evidence appear or disappear to continue connecting any dots.

The question everyone with the semblance of a brain should have wondered in the first month of Russia's "limited operation" is why they didn't take the entire country. No one on the world's stage, outside of shitting in their pants, would have done anything. They're essentially cowards, and if unexpected events occur, they fumble with their phone calling their handler for the next move.

The Elités don't want to use nuclear weapons because they simply want far less population and an unspoiled planet for their dreams. Why do you think they're cataloguing everything? Every tree?

Every stream? What will they do in a nuclear winter but suffer below ground for decades or try to fly to Mars and restore their destroyed planet? They're spoiled and greedy, and in actuality, very few have the discipline and drive necessary.

The real inescapable point no one should ignore is that Russia has had the weapons and manpower and has produced zero results.

I will tell you this. Whoever is running this operation overall is extremely brilliant. I speak of no one on the NATO/American side nor Russian side...you understand? Using people against people. The script and play designated to the Russians has been played once too often. War and decimation of their people. The layers in this script are intricate to fool the best of you.

Americans have grown fat and lazy. They were easy to subvert. Most have sold their souls for the McMansion in which they reside while their daughter gets kicked off her university's swimming team because a guy has decided to conceal his penis into his tuckable swimsuit and play female.

I would say the best anyone can produce lies within our gut feelings. This is also an intricate operation because the mind will likely want to rule that initial intuition. How pure can you stay with that initial feeling and let it develop? The gut feeling may well prove false...but eventually lead to truth.

Who knew that William Butler Yeats would become a prophet? His oft-quoted poem exactly and accurately describes our times.

"Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;

Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,

The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere

The ceremony of innocence is drowned;

The best lack all conviction, while the worst

Are full of passionate intensity."

No. They don't care about you. They don't care about your children. They don't care about your heritage. They don't care about your culture. The don't care about wars and suffering propagated as long as they levy their Will upon humankind.

The Ukraine War reminds me of the movie Cromwell 1970 where generals purposely lost battles, 1/2 ass war, there was corruption in the leadership, betrayals, lies, patriots killed while the leadership got drunk. So what is going on in Russia is nothing new. Prigozhin seems to be taking the role of Cromwell and Shoigu is like the Earl of Manchester. See: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ER6xGlAZjVs

The dam was probably blown by an AFU commander who really did not want to make the amphibious assault across the Dnieper in Kherson....

Critics of this site would say that this pro-West psy-op site pretending to care about Russia and criticizing the Kremlin for corruption and not doing enough to help Russians while actually undermining Russia, but I’ve always appreciated genuine dissent and points of view and gave it the benefit of the doubt.

But this post gives ammo to the critics: really, Rolo thinks that Russia has slightly more reason to bomb the dam?? Kiev hates the south of Ukraine who are of Russian ethnicities even if many don’t want to be part of Russia. Nearly all the consequences are felt by civilians who are either on Russian claimed territories or in areas of southern Ukraine that are historically Russian speaking. Indeed what’s been going on is that Kiev has been throwing many ethnic Russian conscripts as fodder vs Russia and essentially depopulating ethnic Russians. The alacrity in which western media blamed Russia is all a well coordinated effort which any geopolitical observer would recognize.

I am more convinced that Rolo is almost certainly part of a Western info op than a genuine dissenter.

Putin never hide his disdain for russian lives. Just look at his reaction to the Kursk sub disaster right at the beggining of his reign.

I don't understand why now the people are surprised by his indiference.

Next will be some kind of disaster at the zaporizhia nuclear plant.

One proposed reason for Ukraine to destroy the dam is to move men from Kherson to Zaporizhzhia, without concern for an attack in Kherson. I believe Russia could simply have opened the gates if they wanted a flood. Whatever ...

You are losing objectivity if you think the only reason Ukraine would launch an attack was that it made sense, and they were ready. The United States makes these decisions and they are based on many factors other than what makes military sense for Ukraine.

I recommend you leave off the 'see I was right' shit. People who do that are invariably rather selective in pointing out what they said in the past. And tend to ignore the fact that plenty of people said the same thing ... ever look at the 'Military Summary Channel'?

While not necessarily delivering your usual truth bombs, Rolo, this was a solid analysis. You make a good case for each side having reasons for demolishing the dam. My money is on Washington as this maximizes the misery for all parties except the neocons. NAFO wins when Russia destabilizes and then the balkanization can begin. Serbia/Kosovo is how the globalists want conflicts. Simmering, low intensity conflicts that prevent any region from unifying against the hydra. How much of Siberia will China get for playing their part?

You comment on this SOROS plan for Zelensky winning the war, its almost as if Zelensky is now taking orders from Soros

Why does Putin play this psycho game?

PUTIN could easily detroy the Ukraine Kiev infrastructure tit4tat, instead he lets them destroy everything that Russia built;

All going to end up like Germany, Italy, and Ukraine economically destroyed for decades;

I'm sorry to say this Rolo, but Tucker Carlson nailed this one and you missed badly. One just has to apply the Cui Bono test - in all situations it's the Ukies who benefit - and the loss of reliable water supply to the Crimea is in the longer run a massive hit. The only possible situation in which Russia might do this is if it were faced with a major Ukrainian breakthrough onto the east bank and imminent loss of military control of the reservoir to the Ukies, which was clearly not the case at all. (And if they had wanted to flood the east bank, they could have just opened the sluice gates, deliberately or "accidentally").

It also wasn't nice seeing your post being used by western sources to support the "Russia did it narrative" -- Sure like the Kerch bridge and the Nordstrom gas pipeline!!! Come on - wake up man!
