It is a great error not to take Marx seriously!

"Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it everywhere, diagnosing it incorrectly and applying the wrong remedies"

Groucho Marx, that is...

It seems like the parallels with WWI go beyond the conflict getting bogged down in endurance warfare. Both sides are handicapped by incompetence and corruption at high levels, the question then becoming less 'who is the most competent', but rather, 'who is the least bad at this'.

Still, all Russia really has to do is ensure the conflict continues into winter. Once the snow falls, the front will stagnate. The European economy and social order will come under extreme stress due to energy poverty. Historically, winter has always been Russia's greatest military asset. This may be the first time it's been used offensively, however, rather than serving as a defense in depth.

Nearly 40 years ago, Russia had dug itself into a quagmire in Afghanistan. Jimmy Carter armed the Mujahideen and created al Qaeda, sparing Russia further embarrassment. Now, following years of harassment and encroachment by America's proxy army NATO, Russia has struck back.

Oddly, President Putin has followed in the paths created by Harry Truman and LBJ. By fighting a limited war in North Korea and Vietnam, the USA chose stalemate and defeat instead of victory.

The next few weeks will be eye-opening. Of course, living in the USA, I have no access to actual reporting on the war in Ukraine.

Thanks for posting, Rolo.

Excellent demonstration of some serious "full disclosure." If only other content creators were so forthright. It reminds me of a saying "An honest man doesn't need a good memory, only a liar does."

I like Putin, if anyone hears him speak he clearly a populist although obviously he’s getting rusty. I’m not a fan of the globalist theory. If I am to give him the benefit of the doubt I have been under the impression he went full in on geopolitical maneuvering for the benefit of Russia. So a lot of things happening can be perceived as him gambling on certain geopolitical shifts occurring behind the scenes. For what ever reason Russia is unable to commit to full war and unfortunately that’s the populist position that he’s trying to balance unsuccessfully. So basically we hit very unpleasant dilemma where one can trust him hoping his insider knowledge and expectations turn out true or to denounce him by saying the peasant know better and we need a war of conquest. The problem for me is I’m know sure which side I should support.

All of this was predictable from the start & actually goes back years before this crisis. The fatal flaw of the Russian ruling class is pathetically trying to be accepted into the Western club which was never going to happen - the Western ruling class is pathologically Russophobic. As the WSWS - World Socialist Website - so accurately summarized the situation: "Putin sought to make an agreement with US imperialism that the Russian oligarchy could live with. Speaking for Russia’s capitalist oligarchy, Putin is far more concerned with domestic social opposition.

The US and NATO have shown, however, that they are uninterested in negotiation. They view the complete subjugation of Russia, including its carve-up into multiple statelets, as a critical strategic goal. Time and time again, the Kremlin has underestimated the determination of the US and its European imperialist allies.

The rapid breakthrough by Ukrainian forces is the result of the massive escalation of the conflict by the United States and NATO. American paramilitary forces are on the ground, directly coordinating the offensive. Ukrainian missile strikes are directed by the US intelligence agencies, which designate targets."

The planetary terrorist bully - the American Empire - is psychopathically determined to retain its global hegemony at any cost; up to & including nuclear annihilation. Unlike all other empires in human history, when the American Empire goes down, it will take the planet with it.

I don't understand why big Russie would need lilliputian Lituania/Estonia/Lativa.

Who are not slavic and are not russian. Even not orthodox.

As a nationalist, I disagree.

(no related but you were right : Slavyansgrad is a fucking communist. I vomit while reading his "though" of today)

(I have to note than leftist-proRussia are very very oftenly big haters of West Europa. I understand than we are governed by idiots which were elected by idiots, but those leftist use even language like "those evil crusaders' (!). Crusades were a glorious page of French history (there was no "latin empire" nor "Jerusalem Kingdom" it was all made by french chevalry).

Even smoothiex12 fall in the trap of saint Shaker. Their views are so communist than sometime, I even feel bad for Zelinsky (I'm joking, but...)

It's a real pleasure for me to can read right-wing pro-Russian point of view. I discover your work on Unz (a quite leftist-zone, also...) or OO, I don"t remember.

That's said, and even if I agree with you than shaker's copium is annoying, I'm not certain 100% this Kharkov retreat was such a disaster. The main cause IMO is the lack of troops caused by the structure of the operation (an SMO and not a war). But I'm still very optimistic. Russia has energy and industries. Russia have allies which also have industries and energy. Those are the tow big keys to win wars (cf. Paul Kennedy's book).

Western Europe have wokism, no more industry, no energy at all. USA have wokism, no more energy, and just enough energy to sustain it's system, no more. No magic americain gas for Europe.

Forgive me for such unclear message and for my english.

Well, this is quite devastating. Having followed Fearless John, Gonzalo Lira, and Patrick Lancaster for months (as well as several Russian telegram channels), this reality might sadly mean a bloodbath for those unfortunate Russian civilians remaining in Ukraine.

I am embarrassed beyond words at how my country, America, is bleeding money to that troll, Zelensky.

I pray for the Russian soldiers, unwilling Ukrainian conscripts, as well as the innocent men, women, and children who have been caught up in this war. And I pray that the Lord will intervene quickly, expose the lies and cover up of not only financial crimes, but those responsible for the labs - as well as the vicious treatment of Russian troops and civilians.

Justice must prevail.

Personally, I believe that Putin and his government work for the global cabal, just as fervently as almost all Western governments and political establishments do.

Putin was ordered to invade Ukraine, so as to provide the excuse for the sanctions - which are actually aimed at destroying the economies and living standards of the West, via driving energy prices sky high.

Thanks for your comments. Personally, I don't see the need to control the Baltics. As long as they remained neutral they posed no threat to Russia. The issue is peobably more about Western/Jewish meddling. As an aside, the logical analogy for your greater Russia philosophy is the one China policy. I am new here and you may well have addressed this issue in older posts.

Edit: although how one goes about preventing Western/Jewish meddling in a place of strategic importance to Russia is a difficult question. And perhaps why you suggest Baltic control.

Sober analysis at its finest—all the more I’m curious of the rationale behind your take.

💬 I also believe that the Baltics ought to be taken back

Why so? However you slice & dice & realign, iskonno russkie zemli they are not, no more than Kaliningradskaya oblast’ ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Neither the peoples are slavic—why do you & fellow patriots think it’s kosher to drag ‘em kicking & screaming into The Slavland?

A minor point in the grand scheme of things, but still.

When are the PTB, Russia, NATO, et al going to use the real weapons they have i.e. directed energy weapons, starwars, etc etc ad nauseum....the fact that this is mainly a ground war illustrated their blood lust....they have weapons in their arsenals which would make this type of warfare totally outdated

Thanks for a breath of fresh air on this whole crappy mess that my country has gotten the world into....I never for one minute have forgotten that Putin was once one of Herr Schwab's young global leaders....I have tried to believe he is going off the reservation, but now I wonder....?

Satan is ruling the world at present and wants to kill off as many of us as possible before the real tragedy starts...I've gotten tired of listening to Scott Ritter , et al

I have to admit falling hopefully for some of hopium that Gonzalo Lira and many of the channels on Telegram have dished out unrelentingly for the last few months. For most us living in the US it’s extremely hard to know what info is right or wrong. Sometimes it’s a combination of the two. A few things are for certain though and that’s the ominous shroud of a withering winter that is rapidly approaching and the shortage of fuel for many European re NATO countries. Couple that with the inevitable global financial collapse and you now have 2 explosive factors that will turn this conflict upside down
