I would only say be careful about a move to "stab in the back" thinking - at least carefully assess the extent to which it "maybe" true.

Such thinking created a very poisonous dynamic throughout the 1920s in Germany and it was - at least re: the suspected stabbers - not likely accurate.

Shariy made a good point, seems like it was for show to appease the home front. A very stupid display of bombing infrastructure this late indeed.

Seems like the reforms in Russian society were forcefully fizzled by the 5th column activating to protect their own.

Kind of crazy when we're reaching a point where mainstream pundits aren't even in alignment with the state, thought they're trying, and I don't think it's a coincidence. Hopefully the old men in charge who are patriotic don't die from weight of their hubris.

The purpose of knocking out the power plants was to stop trains loaded with armor and artillery and personnel. I believe some of the stalled trains were bombarded.

Who is going to take a fight to Russians, though? Western pansies? They’re aren’t enough people in the Western militaries willing to fight a real war against Russia. They will fold. Putin has no choice but to escalate now. Nobody is going to win, everyone will just lose. I’m looking for Russia to hit back hard and we will see a shocking collapse of Western, homosexual-led fighting forces.

Hard to know exactly. In general though I suspect Ukraine beyond a few provinces has anything of value for Russia. They are sitting on about 2 trillion in mineral resources now. What really interests me are the ideas of KGB defector Major Anatoliy Golitsyn’s second book 'The Perestroika Deception' (1995) where the author decries the West’s blind acceptance of the political and economic changes that occurred within the Soviet Bloc, culminating in the collapse of the East Bloc and later the collapse of the USSR. https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2009/09/the_perestroika_deception.html

Convergence with China and a "Clenched Fist" strategy for war with the USA and her Allies.

Then the WEF connections, which Russia was aligned with formally until the onset of the SMO.

Golitsyn did not know that the USSR, like communist China, was a creation of Western plutocracy.

The reference to Hannibal was a shameless bait. We know a Roman army was destroyed at Cannae. Hard to believe Hannibal had no part in it.

NATO has just invaded Armenia, haven't they? It appears the New World Order has pulled out all the stops in its desire to destroy Russia. There are only two interesting questions.

(1) Will Russia use nukes to defend itself and

(2) Will China come to the aid of its ally?
